Primary Food Hygiene

PRIMARY COURSE IN FOOD HYGIENE in conjunction with Environmental Health Officers Assoc.

The course is made up of eight sessions, each designed to approx. one hour long comprising of a visual and text presentation.

At the end of the course a brief summary session is held and the group undertakes a question paper set by the Environmental Health Officers association, which on successful completion will result in the issue of a certificate in primary food hygiene.

Session 1 – Food Hygiene
Session 2 – Food Contamination
Session 3 – Food Delivery and Storage
Session 4 – Food Preparation, Cooking and Serving    Session 5 – Personal Hygiene
Session 6 – Layout of Food Premises and Pest Control
Session 7 – Cleaning
Session 8 – An Introduction to HACCP

Exam: 1hr exam EHOA (Environmental Health Officers Association)
Course exam fee of €30 per person
 
Certificate: Certificate issued by EHOA
